  • Opening hours of each department
  • Holiday calendar for 2010 / 2011

    As part of the National Library of Israel's efforts to improve its public services the library is extending its hours.

    From May 2, 2010 the opening hours of the library are as follows:

        Sunday – Thursday

    9:00 – 20:00   (The Loan Desk closes at 18:00)

        Friday

    9:00 – 13:00   (The Loan Desk is closed)

  • Services available on Sunday through Thursday between 19:00 – 20:00:
    • Reference and bibliographic services
    • Reading Rooms: General, Judaica, Asia-Africa, Reference
    • Manuscripts and Archives Reading Room (until 20:00 on Sundays only)
    • Catalogues and computers in the catalogue room
    • Photocopying machines
    • Cloakroom
    • Cafeteria

  • Loan service until 18:00
  • Book orders from the stacks to the reading rooms until 19:00

    During opening hours of the library, the public has at its disposal automatic photocopying machines, operated by magnetic cards.
